Youth Center’s 10 Year Anniversary: On Thursday, October 1st, 2015 The Youth Center will celebrate having its doors open for 10 Years! On October 1st, 2005 a Grand Opening Ceremony was held with County Commissioners, School Board Members as well as various County and School Board employees. Ten years later, the Flagler County Youth Center is still going strong, averaging 20,000 youth a year, taking advantage of after school and summer programs available. This unique partnership between Flagler County Commissioners and the Flagler County School Board has been a HUGE success, and accomplishes its main goal of catching at risk youth, after school, instead of going home. Little did we know that the Youth Center would also provide a fun, safe haven for numerous students who stay after school for clubs and athletics. The center also provides a wonderful Summer Camp program, for a discounted price too local summer camps, for 60, 6th -8th grade youth. Congratulations Flagler County Youth Center for successfully serving Flagler County families and their children!
