Youth Center’s Summer Camp: The 2016 Camp is the 10th year the Youth Center has sponsored a camp for local youth. Many youth who have aged out of our 6th -9th grade program, return and assist counselors and campers as CIT’s: Counselors In Training. A wonderful program that helps teens build leadership skills, and keeps them busy over the summer weeks. A normal day at camp, consist of rotations to all three Youth center rooms, for activities, lunch in the FPC cafeteria, a choice to go to the gym for activity or to return to the center for a PG or PG 13 movie, selected by campers, and free time. Currently, we are working on crowning Camp Champions in Pool. Ping-Pong, Checkers, Jenga, and Halo. All Champions will be awarded a FREE remaining trip or ½ the cost to Typhoon Lagoon. Big hits with campers this summer include: Giant Connect Four game, Giant Jenga, and the opportunity to do Adult Coloring Books.
