Born and raised in Pennsylvania, I relocated with my family to Palm Coast nine years ago, and was hired as the Director of the Flagler County Youth Center. Prior to my arrival in Florida, I was employed as a Director of Athletics for Delaware County Community College, for eleven years, as well as serving five years as Director of Athletics for a suburban Philadelphia public school system. Currently, I possess a Masters Degree in Education, a Bachelors Degree in Health & Physical Education, and Principal Certification in Leadership.  In years past, I have coached Bowling, Golf, Tennis, Softball and Field Hockey. I have also served as Commissioner of the Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference, President of the Eastern Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference, and President of Philadelphia Intercollegiate Athletics for Women.  I have dedicated my professional career to developing athletic and recreational programs designed to promote sportsmanship and meet user needs. Currently,  I serve as the Department of Juvenile Justice Circuit 7 Chair, as well as four years as the Flagler DJJ Council’s Chair. In years past, I served on the Board of Directors for PAL, Focus on Flagler County Youth, and am currently Chair of the Flagler County 4-H Advisory Council. In 2011, I was named Professional Youth Advocate of the Year, by the Volusia/Flagler Committee for Positive Parenting.  Opening the Flagler County Youth Center, and developing programs of interest to Flagler County youth, has become my passion, and a position I was destined to do. Since opening the center, I have developed the Student Advisory Council, the student governing body for the center, who on an annual basis sponsors events and donates proceeds to needy organizations within the County.  The Volusia/Flagler County United Way honored the 2011-2012 Advisory Council, by naming them the United Way’s Youth Group of the Year, for all that they do for the community. In my mind there is no better way to spend your day than working with tomorrow's leaders!
