Program Information and Hours: During the school year the  Youth Center is a safe and secure drop-in program; you can relax with friends, play ping-pong or pool, watch TV, read and do homework, play PS4 games, and utilize the large computer lab. Daily hours throughout the school year are: Monday – Friday, 2:00pm – 6:00pm. During the summer we hosted our annual Summer Camp during the hours of 8:00am-5:30pm. The Youth Center is closed on Saturday & Sunday.

Director’s Message:  This month is going to be an action packed month for students in Flagler County!  Here at the Youth Center, we are hosting a Madden Tournament and the winner will get a $25 gift card!  We will be taking the YC HotSpot to Wadsworth Elementary on Friday, February 7th to reward students for positive behavior!  The Youth Center Student Advisory Council is planning the final stages of the implementation for the new community garden coming to FPC.  Our PBS Fridays have become so successful that we are now doing them every Friday! And the Youth Center is partnering with the City of Palm Coast and the Flagler Youth Coalition to provide two events for Flagler Youth this month!  The Flagler Youth Coalition will be hosting a Friday Night Done Right on Friday, February 14 at the Carver Community Center from 7-9 and a Natural High event on Friday, February 28 at the Palm Coast Community Center from 7-9. 

Student Advisory Council: The SAC will meet on Monday February 10 and Thursday February  13th. Any student wishing to join needs to contact Mr. Butler via email at [email protected] 

Road to Success Program: We have reached 225 GEDs earned to date with a 97% success rate. Currently we have student internships at the Flagler Youth Center and East Coast Gym and our students earned Food handlers ServSafe credentials. This past month we hosted workshops for Army recruiters, Flagler Technical Institute, resume writing, and we hosted a field trip to Career Source Flagler Volusia.   This past month we also celebrated birthdays for two of our staff, Taahira Lee and Jonathan Gore. Coming up in February we are doing First Aid, UF 4H is conducting a nutrition class, and another certification for ServSafe/Food Handlers class.
