This year’s camp has started and is full!

Camp began yesterday and will run through July 25, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Trips include: Daytona Lagoon, bowling, Sky Zone, movies, and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon.

If you missed the opportunity to register your child this year, be sure to keep an eye out in March of next year for the 2026 registration form.

The stage was shining bright as Flagler County celebrated its rising stars during the 16th annual Spotlight on Flagler Youth Talent Show, hosted by the Flagler County Youth Center. The event was held on Thursday, May 29, at the Fitzgerald Performing Arts Center. This highly anticipated showcase featured some of the community’s most talented young performers and concluded with the announcement of the 2025 Entertainers of the Year.

Wowing the judges and audience with their creativity, dedication, and showmanship, this year’s winners represented a diverse range of talents across three age divisions:

Junior Division

Winner: Emma and Sarah Duncan

Winner: Sophia Paige

Runner-up: Brianna Fune

Senior Division

Winner: Isabella Derie

Runners-up: K’imani Gervin-McCoy and Lorelei Kilmer

The event would not have been possible without the dedication of our esteemed panel of judges: Cheryl Massaro, former Flagler County School Board member; Andy Dance, Flagler County Commissioner; John Fanelli; and Christy Butler. Their commitment to evaluating the performances and making the difficult decisions is deeply appreciated.

Currently, the G.W. Carver Center is open daily, Monday through Friday, with special events on Saturdays.

Friday: 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Senior Social Hour (Summer Hours):
Tuesdays only, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
